We’re five mates from South West Sydney who absolutely LOVE board games! Playing, discussing and sharing them with anyone that’ll roll some dice with us.

We believe board games are more than just fun, they’re a great way to bring people together. Whether it’s family, friends or even someone new! They spark laughter, stories, and memories that last.

For the past two years, we’ve been hosting the Board Game Gateway podcast, diving deep into game reviews, designer chats, and passionate debates about all things tabletop. But we also wanted a way to bring our local community together, in person, to enjoy this amazing hobby.

That’s how Sydney’s Family Game Day was born!

This is our 4th event now, with each one bigger, better and more joyful than the last! From curious newcomers to seasoned meeple-movers, our goal is the same: to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone can unplug, play, and connect.
